What is a cremation memorial and which styles do you build?
A cremation memorial is a granite monument that holds cremated remains inside the stone instead of in a buried casket. Memoria Columbaria builds cored monuments, urn monuments, cremation pedestals, memorial boulders and family memorials, all cut from solid granite in Los Angeles and engraved before delivery.
Every style is drilled and sealed for the urn size you are using, so the memorial doubles as the final resting place and no separate vault is needed.

Questions families ask before ordering
Do you deliver and install in Long Beach and Glendale?
Yes. Long Beach and Glendale are inside our regular delivery and installation area, along with Los Angeles and the rest of the California cities we serve. We set the foundation pad or work to the cemetery specification, level the granite and clean the site before we leave.
Can you engrave a columbarium that is already installed?
Yes. We engrave installed niche fronts on site with portable sandblast equipment and mask the surrounding granite so neighbouring niches are not damaged. You approve a printed proof of the exact lettering layout before anything is cut, because engraving is permanent.
Which granite colors can I choose?
We cut Bahama Blue, Black, Gray and Red granite. Each colour behaves differently under engraving: dark granite gives the highest contrast on sandblasted lettering, and lighter granite suits deeper V-cut letters. We will show you the colour on your own design in the 3D preview before you commit.
Who installs the monument after it is made?
Our own delivery and installation crew sets the memorial. We handle the foundation or work to the cemetery specification, place and level the granite, seal the joints and remove all packaging. You are not left to arrange a separate contractor after the stone arrives.
